Websites That Meet Your Business Objectives
What Makes a Good Website?
Your target audience is looking for 3 things:
1. Who are you?
2. What do you do?
3. How can you help me?
If these answers aren’t easily decipherable, any opportunity to engage a viewer is lost. It’s a fact: A viewer to your site decides whether or not to engage with you within a few seconds. So, the first impression has to be meaningful, relevant, and motivating.
The best websites are from companies who know who they are and can effectively communicate that. A well designed and well written site makes it easy for the viewer to identify with the brand's value and to find the information they want. All elements in the design must have a strategic purpose, coming together to communicate the brand message and provide a good overall experience for the user. The website, if part of a campaign, must also fit with the other marketing pieces so that there is a cohesive brand message being delivered to the target audience.
